In Ayurveda, doshas are three fundamental energies or principles that govern all physical and mental processes within the body. They are known as Vata, Pitta, and Kapha. These doshas are combinations of the five elements (earth, water, fire, air, and space) and are believed to influence a person’s physical, mental, and emotional characteristics.

By identifying an individual’s dominant dosha(s), Ayurveda tailors dietary and lifestyle recommendations to promote balance and well-being.
